Sturgeon Rods - The start

I spent a few year getting a sturgeon rod blank designed to build custom sturgeon rods to fit the needs of the sturgeon fishing community. After building customs for a few years, I decided the need was there to get a production sturgeon rod on the market. The production hog whip was born. I believe the soft tip and heavy backbone makes it the most versatile sturgeon fishing rod on the market. The light tip for bite detection and heavy backbone for fighting big fish is by design. Aluminum reel seat and stainless guides make it extremely durable for these heavy fighting fish.
